Power of Attorney

If you were faced with the reality of being unable to manage your personal financial affairs due to a sudden illness, serious accident or declining mental capacity or you are overseas, you should have an Enduring Power of Attorney.

What is an Enduring Power of Attorney?

An Enduring Power of Attorney is a formal agreement where a person (the principal) appoints another person(s) (the attorney) to make decisions on his or her behalf in certain circumstances.

“Enduring” simply means that the power of attorney continues in force if you become mentally or physically incapacitated.
